Why there is no analytics script
The site does not need a profile of its visitors to be useful.
A typical analytics package can answer which page is popular, where a visitor came from, how long they stayed, and which device they used. Those answers can help a commercial publication. For this site, they would mostly create another system to disclose, secure, and maintain.
What I actually need
I need to know whether pages return successfully, whether certificates renew, and whether unusual traffic is causing errors. Limited web-server access and error logs are enough for those operational questions. They are not combined into visitor journeys or advertising profiles.
A practical benefit
No analytics script means one fewer external request, no consent banner for analytics cookies, and fewer surprises when a third-party service changes. The browser tools can also make a clear promise: their working input remains inside the current tab.
